Transport for Wales and Ramblers Cymru ‘Train, talk, walk‘
In January 2023 Transport for Wales launched a partnership project with Ramblers Cymru to encourage local people and visitors to be more active and explore local communities and lesser-known places using public transport. Twenty-two new railway station walks were launched, fifteen in North Wales.

Rail to Trail along the Wales Coast Path
The Wales Coast Path is a remarkable trail that winds its way along the stunning coastline of Wales, offering breath-taking views of rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and picturesque harbours. Railway stations along the North Wales Coast line act as gateways to the Wales Coast Path offering an extraordinary rail to trail experience.
Go Jauntly
The Go Jauntly app is an innovative and user-friendly tool designed to inspire and guide individuals in exploring the outdoors. Developed with a focus on promoting well-being and fostering a connection with nature, Go Jauntly offers a range of curated walking routes that cater to various preferences and fitness levels. Through its partnership with Transport for Wales, Go Jauntly offers over 100 miles of photo led walking routes from railway stations across Wales.
