From the rugged peaks of Eryri to the shores of Llandudno, our region is defined by its natural beauty. This February we are asking our passengers and residents to help is protect it by joining Fix it Feb.
What is Fix it Feb? It’s a month-long mission by Repair Cafe Wales to shift our mindset from “throwaway” to “repair’ by repairing one broken item instead of replacing it. In 2024, Wales Repair Cafes fixed over 10,000 items, saving 233,497kg of carbon emissions, the equivalent of driving 1,037,085 miles.
How can you take part?
Pledge: Take the pledge on the Repair Cafe Wales website to fix one item this month – be it a deck chair or toaster.
Ride to Repair: Grab your broken item and take the train or bus to your local repair hubs. We’ve compiled a handy list of Repair Cafes from stations along our rail network.
Volunteer: Do you have a knack for fixing electronics or sewing? Your local Repair Cafe is always looking for volunteer “fixers”.
