Llandudno railway station gets a festive make over thanks to children from Llandudno Primary Schools

The Christmas spirit was in full swing last week as children from three primary schools in Llandudno came to decorate the station’s Christmas tree. The Conwy Valley and North West Wales Coast Line Community Rail Partnership funded the purchase of 250 wooden ornaments and colouring pens for children of local primary schools to decorate. Children attended the station over two days to sing Christmas carols and hang their decorations on the tree. It was a beautiful event, filled with plenty of festive cheer and an opportunity to connect communities to their station encouraging a sense of pride and ownership. The tree looks magical in the main hall of the station where it stands proud, greeting passengers as they alight the train. The tree was decorated in time for the annual Llandudno Christmas Parade which leaves from the station.
