On International Volunteer Day we thank our fantastic Station Adopters whose invaluable work ensures stations along our lines are well kept and maintained creating a welcoming environment for passengers, wildlife and the community.
International Volunteer Day is celebrated annually to recognise and promote the tireless work of volunteers across the globe. Becoming a station adopter or a member of a friends of stations group is an opportunity to meet like minded people, with a passion for volunteering and gardening while connecting stations to communities.
