Agorwyd gorsaf reilffordd Gogledd Llanrwst yn 1863 fel terminws Rheilffordd Conwy a Llanrwst a gafodd ei gymryd drosodd gan gwmni\u2019r London and North Western Railway yn 1867 a\u2019i ymestyn i Fetws-y-coed yn 1869. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yn ystod y blynyddoedd yn dilyn hyn, newidiodd enw\u2019r orsaf sawl gwaith. Yn 1884 cafodd ei hailenwi yn Llanrwst a Threfriw yn dilyn agoriad swyddogol llwybr Gower i Drefriw. Mae\u2019r daith gerdded wledig hon o Ogledd Llanrwst i bentref Trefriw tua milltir o hyd ac mae\u2019n croesi pont droed grog drawiadol dros afon Conwy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Trefriw wedi bod yn adnabyddus ers tro am ei ffynhonnau, a chredir bod gan y d\u0175r rinweddau therapiwtig. Ffynnodd y pentref yn y bedwaredd ganrif ar bymtheg pan ddaeth yn gyrchfan ffynhonnau poblogaidd yn y cyfnod Fictoraidd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae Trefriw yn dal i ddenu ymwelwyr hyd heddiw diolch i\u2019w leoliad hardd yn Nyffryn Conwy, ei agosrwydd at Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri, a Melinau Gwl\u00e2n Trefriw, lle mae tecstilau Cymreig traddodiadol yn dal i gael eu cynhyrchu. Mae gan y Felin Ardd Wehyddwyr arbenigol, ac mae gan yr holl blanhigion gysylltiadau gwahanol \u00e2 thecstilau. Maent wedi\u2019u labelu i ddangos sut maent yn cael eu defnyddio, gan gynnwys planhigion ar gyfer llifo, sebon, a llawer mwy. Mae\u2019r Ardd ar ei gorau rhwng mis Mehefin a mis Medi a gellir ymweld \u00e2 hi yn ystod oriau agor y siop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mae dewis gwych o lwybrau cerdded golygfaol yn Nhrefriw hefyd, gan gynnwys llwybr Rhaeadr y Tylwyth Teg ar afon Crafnant, rhaeadr hardd yng nghanol coetiroedd gwyrdd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gorsaf reilffordd Gogledd Llanrwst yw\u2019r unig fan pasio ar Reilffordd Dyffryn Conwy rhwng Cyffordd Llandudno a Blaenau Ffestiniog. Mae\u2019r orsaf yn safle ar gais ac mae yma gaban signalau lle mae\u2019n rhaid i\u2019r trenau stopio i gyfnewid tocynnau haearn. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
