Mae\u2019r dref fach hon ar ben pellaf yr ynys yn borthladd mawr prysur, a bu erioed yn fan aros hynod bwysig ar y daith i Iwerddon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heddiw, mae\u2019r orsaf yn croesawu amryw o deithwyr o bob rhan o\u2019r DU, gyda gwasanaeth dyddiol rhwng Llundain a Chaergybi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Erbyn i\u2019r rheilffordd gyrraedd Caergybi ym 1848, roedd eisoes yn borthladd sefydledig; hi oedd y dref fwyaf yn Ynys M\u00f4n mewn gwirionedd. Agorwyd yr orsaf wreiddiol ym 1848 gan Reilffordd Caer a Chaergybi, ond fe\u2019i disodlwyd gan gwmni rheilffordd LNWR ym 1851 \u2013 mae to\u2019r adeilad \u2018newydd\u2019 yn dal i\u2019w weld hyd heddiw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pan ddaeth y rheilffordd i Gaergybi, roedd trenau\u2019n rhedeg yr holl ffordd i lawr at y d\u0175r. Heddiw mae gan yr orsaf gysylltiadau \u00e2\u2019r m\u00f4r o hyd, gan ei bod yn cwrdd \u00e2 <a href=\"https:\/\/holyheadport.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Phorthladd Fferi Caergybi<\/a> \u2013 y cyswllt m\u00f4r prysuraf rhwng y DU ag Iwerddon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mae llawer i\u2019w weld a\u2019i gwneud yn nhref Caergybi a\u2019r ardal gyfagos; mae\u2019n llawer mwy na dim ond man gorffwys ar daith. Croeswch bont droed y Porth Celtaidd a dechreuwch archwilio.
